Membrane Tensile strength measuring skid with DAQ
Automated tensile strength measurement system with data acquisition

Description
The Membrane Tensile Strength Measuring Skid with DAQ (Data Acquisition) is an automated testing system for characterizing the mechanical properties of flat sheet and hollow fiber membranes. The system measures tensile strength, elongation at break, and elastic modulus, providing essential data for predicting membrane durability under operational conditions.
The integrated DAQ system records force and displacement data in real time, generating stress-strain curves that reveal both the elastic and plastic deformation behaviour of the membrane material. Data is exportable for further analysis and comparison across membrane formulations.
Mechanical strength testing is critical for membranes intended for high-pressure applications (RO, NF), spiral wound module fabrication where membranes must withstand winding tension, and hollow fiber systems where fibers experience hydraulic stress during operation. This system provides the quantitative data needed to optimize membrane formulations for mechanical performance.
