Contact angle goniometer refers to the tangent of the gas-liquid interface at the intersection point C of gas, liquid and solid, and the included angle between the tangent on the liquid side and the solid-liquid boundary line is a measure of wetting degree. It is the main method of surface performance testing at present. The contact angle and surface energy of the sample surface are measured by the principle of optical imaging-image profile analysis. It is mainly composed of light source, injection unit, sample table, acquisition system and analysis software. The equipment adopts differential precision liquid inlet device, which has high cost performance, strong expansibility and comprehensive functions, and can meet all kinds of conventional measurement requirements. At present, it has been widely used in many universities and enterprises.

The Lab Contact Angle Meter (Model TI 150) is an advanced optical imaging–based instrument designed for accurate measurement of surface wettability and surface free energy. It works on the image profile analysis principle and uses Sessile Drop and Pendant Drop methods for contact angle and surface tension measurement. The instrument offers a wide contact angle range of 0°–180° and surface tension measurement from 0–100 mN/m, with high resolution of 0.01° and accuracy of ±0.3°. It is equipped with an LED light source, high-speed camera (≥30 fps) with USB 3.0 interface, and fully automated analysis software supporting multiple evaluation methods such as Young-Laplace, Owens-Wendt, Acid-Base, and other surface energy models. The system accommodates sample sizes up to 100 × 100 × 10 mm, includes Z-axis stage movement greater than 10 mm, and features a manual droplet dispenser with minimum 1 µl capacity. With a compact footprint (≤175 × 350 × 300 mm) and lightweight design (≤3 kg), it is suitable for laboratory environments and plug-and-play operation.
