Description

The Lab Test Skid for Membrane Distillation with 3 KW Heater provides enhanced thermal capacity for MD experiments requiring higher feed temperatures or larger temperature differentials. The 3 kW heating element delivers rapid heat-up times and maintains stable elevated temperatures during extended testing, which is critical for studying MD performance under demanding thermal conditions.

The system includes the same dual-loop circulation design as our standard MD skid, with independent temperature control on both the hot feed and cold permeate sides. The higher heating capacity is particularly beneficial for DCMD experiments at feed temperatures above 60 degrees C, vacuum membrane distillation (VMD) studies, and applications involving concentrated brine solutions with elevated boiling points.

Built-in sensors monitor feed and permeate temperatures, flow rates, and vapour flux, providing comprehensive performance data for membrane characterization and process optimization.
