The Tech Inc. Six-Vessel Parallel Reactor Station (model TI-PRS) runs six 600 mL pressure vessels side by side under one control system, with automated sampling from each vessel. It is built for rock–fluid–gas reactor work, in which rock samples, brine and gas react at reservoir-like pressure and temperature over long tests. Upstream research centres, reservoir and production chemistry laboratories and catalyst groups use it to test several conditions in a single run.

Main components

  • Six 600 mL vessels with Alloy C-276 wetted parts, or to client specification
  • Individual heater and temperature control on each vessel
  • Magnetically coupled stirring on each vessel
  • Gas manifold with pressure control and isolation for each vessel
  • Automated sampling valves and sample collection for each vessel
  • Common relief and vent manifold
  • PLC and SCADA with recipe control, alarms and data logging

Applications: rock–fluid–gas interaction, reaction of CO2 and brine with reservoir rock, scale and corrosion studies, enhanced oil recovery chemistry, catalyst screening, and replicate testing.
