Description
The Lab Hollow Fiber Membrane Casting Machine is a complete spinning system for fabricating hollow fiber membranes in a laboratory setting. The system includes a precision spinneret, dope and bore fluid delivery pumps, a coagulation bath, and a fiber take-up system, providing all the components needed for wet-spinning and dry-jet wet-spinning processes.
The spinneret assembly accommodates interchangeable spinneret tips with different inner and outer diameters, allowing researchers to produce hollow fibers with controlled bore dimensions and wall thickness. The dual syringe pump system delivers polymer dope and bore fluid at independently adjustable flow rates, enabling precise control over fiber morphology.
The coagulation bath provides controlled immersion conditions including temperature regulation and non-solvent composition management. The take-up system controls the draw ratio, which influences fiber diameter, wall thickness, and orientation of the polymer structure. This machine is suitable for producing hollow fiber membranes from PVDF, PES, PSf, PAN, and other fiber-forming polymers for UF, MF, and gas separation applications.
