The Tech Inc. Sample Conditioning System is a skid or panel that takes a sample from the process, then filters it, reduces its pressure, heats or cools it and controls its flow before it reaches an online analyser. Refineries, gas plants, pipeline operators and offshore facilities use it to give their analysers a clean, representative sample at the conditions each analyser needs.
Main components
- Sample probe and primary conditioning at the tapping point
- Particulate filtration and liquid removal
- Pressure reduction and regulation to the analyser inlet
- Sample heating or cooling, with electric or steam heat tracing
- Flow control and indication, with fast-loop bypass and sample recovery or return
- Stream selection for multi-stream analysers
- Calibration and validation gas connections
- Panel or cabinet in SS or GRP
Applications: gas chromatographs, H2S, moisture, oxygen, hydrocarbon dew-point and water dew-point analysers, and oil-in-water monitors in refineries, gas plants, pipelines and offshore installations.
