The Tech Inc. Gas Dehydration Skid removes water from natural gas to meet pipeline, fuel or process dew-point specifications. It is supplied as a triethylene glycol (TEG) absorption unit or a twin-tower molecular sieve adsorption unit, skid-mounted for small and medium flows. Producers, gas plant operators and CNG station owners use it to prevent free water, hydrates and corrosion downstream.
Main components – TEG
- Contactor where lean glycol absorbs water from the gas
- Glycol pumps
- Reboiler to regenerate the rich glycol
- Still column
- Flash drum
- Filters
Main components – molecular sieve
- Adsorber towers
- Regeneration heater and cooler
- Switching valves
- PLC sequencing
Applications: wellhead and gathering facilities, fuel gas, CNG stations, instrument gas.
