The Tech Inc. Gas Coalescer Filter Elements remove fine liquid aerosols and solids from natural gas, fuel gas and process gas ahead of compressors, turbines, amine contactors and dehydration units. The lead element, the TI-LG30, is a 30-inch coalescer made as an interchangeable replacement for common OEM designs; it drops into the plant's existing filter-separator housing without modification. Gas plants, refineries and compressor stations change these elements as routine maintenance, either on a differential-pressure alarm or at a planned shutdown.

Element construction

  • Perforated inner support core that carries the element under differential pressure
  • Coalescing media pack that captures fine aerosols and merges them into larger droplets
  • Outer drainage layer that lets coalesced liquid run off and fall to the housing sump
  • End caps and seals matched to the housing seat or tube sheet
  • Part marking and individual packing for traceable store issue

Applications: inlet gas filtration at gas processing plants, fuel gas to gas turbines and gas engines, compressor suction protection, amine contactor inlet, glycol and molecular sieve dehydration inlet, and gas metering stations.
