The Tech Inc. Coolant Treatment Skid for Data Centre Liquid Cooling keeps the glycol coolant in liquid-cooled server halls clean and within specification. Working as a side-stream unit, it continuously draws a small share of the loop flow, filters it and doses inhibitor and glycol before returning it to the loop. Operators of AI server halls install it alongside the coolant distribution units (CDUs) that feed direct-to-chip cold plates, and the same skid serves battery energy storage system (BESS) cooling loops.
Main components
- Stainless-steel multistage side-stream pump
- Fine filtration housings with differential-pressure monitoring
- Inhibitor and glycol make-up dosing
- Inline glycol concentration and turbidity sensors
- Pressure, flow and temperature instruments
- Stainless-steel piping and frame with isolation and sample valves
- PLC with alarms and a link to the building management system (BMS)
Applications: AI and high-performance computing halls, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, CDU secondary loops, colocation and hyperscale data centres, and BESS liquid-cooling loops.
