Description

The Circular SS 316 Pervaporation Test Cell is a stainless steel 316 test cell designed for pervaporation membrane evaluation at pressures up to 3 bars. The 7cm diameter active area provides adequate membrane surface for measuring pervaporation flux and separation factor with good accuracy.

The circular geometry ensures uniform feed flow distribution across the membrane surface. The cell includes a vacuum-compatible permeate port for connecting to the pervaporation vacuum system, and high-quality sealing to prevent feed-side leakage. The SS 316 construction provides excellent chemical resistance for testing with organic solvent mixtures and aqueous-organic feeds.

This cell is compatible with the Tech Inc Lab Pervaporation Test Skid and is suitable for evaluating dense pervaporation membranes including PDMS, PVA, chitosan, and zeolite-filled composite membranes for applications such as ethanol dehydration, VOC removal, and organic-organic separation.
