The Tech Inc. Gas Dehydration Skid removes water from natural gas to meet pipeline, fuel or process dew-point specifications. It is supplied as a triethylene glycol (TEG) absorption unit or a twin-tower molecular sieve adsorption unit, skid-mounted for small and medium flows. Producers, gas plant operators and CNG station owners use it to prevent free water, hydrates and corrosion downstream.

Main components – TEG

  • Contactor where lean glycol absorbs water from the gas
  • Glycol pumps
  • Reboiler to regenerate the rich glycol
  • Still column
  • Flash drum
  • Filters

Main components – molecular sieve

  • Adsorber towers
  • Regeneration heater and cooler
  • Switching valves
  • PLC sequencing
