Coal and lignite gasification plants feed syngas to methanol, ammonia and fertiliser units, and their analysers monitor gasifier performance, syngas cleaning and safety duties such as oxygen and carbon monoxide. The skid conditions the sample for these analysers at each point, from the dirty gasifier outlet to cleaned syngas. Hydrogen and synthetic natural gas plants use the same design.
