Description

The Flat Sheet Rectangular SS 316 RO Test Cell is a high-pressure cross-flow test cell constructed from stainless steel 316, rated for operating pressures up to 69 bars (1000 psi). The 3cm x 7cm active membrane area is sized for efficient use of lab-scale membrane samples while providing sufficient area for reliable flux and rejection measurements.

The rectangular channel design provides well-defined cross-flow conditions across the membrane surface. The cell includes precision-machined flow channels, high-pressure inlet and outlet fittings, and a separate permeate collection port for accurate flux measurement. The clamping mechanism ensures consistent sealing pressure and easy membrane replacement.

This cell is widely used for evaluating thin-film composite RO membranes for desalination, testing novel membrane materials at high pressures, and benchmarking membrane performance against commercial products. Compatible with Tech Inc RO test skids.
