The Tech Inc. Electrospinning Nanofiber Membrane Production System is an advanced nanofiber fabrication platform engineered for membrane research, tissue engineering, filtration media development, and industrial nanofiber applications. Designed in Vaughan, Canada and manufactured in Chennai, India. Tech Inc. is a Saudi Aramco approved vendor.

Overview

Electrospinning uses high voltage electric fields to produce continuous nanofiber membranes from polymer solutions. A polymer solution is pumped through a spinneret while high voltage (5-50 kV) is applied between the spinneret and a grounded collector. The electric field forms a Taylor cone at the needle tip from which a charged polymer jet is ejected. The resulting fibers are in the nanometer range (50-500 nm), creating membranes with extremely high porosity (up to 90%), very high surface-area-to-volume ratio, and tunable fiber morphology.

FAQ

Q: What polymers can I process?
A: PVDF, PAN, PVA, PCL, PLA, PLGA, nylon, PEO, PVP, cellulose acetate, polyurethane, chitosan, collagen, silk fibroin, and many more synthetic and natural polymers.

Q: What fiber diameter range is achievable?
A: Typically 50-500 nm, with range from 20 nm to several micrometers depending on parameters.

Q: Can I produce aligned nanofibers?
A: Yes. The rotating drum collector (100-3000 RPM) enables both random and highly aligned nanofiber arrays.

Q: What is the production capacity?
A: Single needle: 0.1-1.0 g/hr. Multi-needle (12): 5-10 g/hr. Pilot-scale systems available for higher volumes.

Q: Does Tech Inc. provide installation and training?
A: Yes - system setup, calibration, safety briefing, hands-on training, and remote support included.

Q: What safety features are included?
A: Door interlock, HV indicator, emergency stop, grounding system, current-limited supply, enclosed chamber.
