Description

The Lab UF Membrane Test Skid is a self-contained cross-flow filtration system designed for evaluating ultrafiltration membrane performance under controlled conditions. The skid includes a feed pump, pressure gauges, flow meters, a membrane test cell holder, and a recirculation system that allows continuous operation for extended fouling and rejection studies.

The system operates at pressures suitable for UF membranes (typically 1-10 bar) and provides adjustable cross-flow velocity across the membrane surface. Built-in instrumentation monitors feed pressure, retentate pressure, permeate flow rate, and temperature, giving researchers real-time data on membrane performance including flux, transmembrane pressure, and rejection characteristics.

This skid is designed for flat sheet UF membrane coupons and is compatible with Tech Inc test cells. It supports both constant pressure and constant flux operating modes, making it suitable for a wide range of UF membrane characterization experiments including pure water permeability, molecular weight cut-off determination, and fouling studies.
